IMAPS Announces the On-Line Industry Guide and Member Database
The IMAPS Industry Guide — which was last published in 1999 — is now available electronically at <http:// www.imaps.org /indguide>. The Guide was certainly worth the wait as it currently features over 600 organizations, with a complete products and services listing of IMAPS member and non-member companies. It is anticipated in the improved format that by 2002 the Guide will feature over 1200 companies.
If you have access to the Internet, you instantly have access to the most inclusive “who’s who” in the industry. The IMAPS Industry Guide is the most comprehensive listing of microelectronics and packaging companies available.
In addition to searching for companies you are interested in, contact IMAPS today to get your company listed so you can extend your organization’s reach by taking full advantage of this vast resource. Members and non-members alike are listed; however, only IMAPS Organizational Members can promote their organization within all applicable IMAPS products and services listings (non-members receive two listings). Additionally, only members have secure access to update and maintain their records and products and services listings, providing the most accurate information to the public.
From the Industry Guide’s homepage, all users can perform a variety of searches to quickly locate the information they need. Our search tools are extremely powerful, allowing complete searches on all products and services (“Search By Products and Services”). If preferred, users also have the ability to type a company name to retrieve organizational information (“Locate An Organization”). Again, “membership has its privileges” as only IMAPS members can utilize a separate search module that provides searchability to all IMAPS member records-not just organizational, but individual, student and many more. Under the Membership Directory section of the main page, users can simply click on “Search For Individual Members” and immediately have the ability to perform first and last names searches on our membership database, which contains over 6300 IMAPS members. Users will need to log into this section, as this information is reserved for IMAPS members. When prompted, users must enter a username (last name) and a password (member ID).
Our Industry Guide and Member Database open the door for your business. You can now keep up with your industry and competition by reaching a network of players that has been previously unavailable or too difficult to contact.
